The Gypsy Moths

"Honesty"

The Gypsy Moths, a musical group based in Portland, actually has two configurations.

First, there is the harmonizing duo...
Like a deep breath of fresh air on a fine spring day, Raina Rose and Meredith Cushing combine deft guitar work and soaring melodies and harmonies to bring the goosebumps fully on. The girls have released a self-titled CD together.

and then there is the power quartet...
As of late, though, these two have added another dimension. A yin to their yang, so to speak. With the addition of the kickingly syncopated drummer, Justin Burkhart, and core-centering bassist, Trent Hinchman, to back up Raina's groovy rhythm guitar work and Meredith's amazing leads new levels are now possible and regularly achieved.
The group are currently working on a demo of the new lineup recorded live at Mississippi Studios in Portland, Oregon.
